Post Peel
● Day1:
○ Immediately following the peel, skin may look light yellow, red, or tan. This is due to the Retinoic Acid included in the formulation. It is temporary until washed.
○ Please wash your skin after 4 hours (DO NOT USE HOT WATER). You may apply a thin layer or post peel protectant (moisturizer included) as needed. If post peel protectant burns you can substitute a thin layer of aquaphor. Apply the SPF if it is daylight.
○ One hour before bed, wash your face with a mild cleanser (DO NOT USE HOT WATER), dry well and apply one of the post peel towelettes to the peeled areas. If you experience extreme itchiness or irritation, wash with cool water.
● Day2:
○ Cleanse skin with a mild cleanser and gently pat dry (DO NOT USE HOT WATER).
○ Continue to apply a light layer of the post peel protectant 2-4 times per day as needed. Apply SPF after every application during daylight hours.
○ One hour before bed, wash your face with a mild cleanser (DO NOT USE HOT WATER), dry well and apply one of the post peel towelettes to the peeled areas. If you experience extreme itchiness or irritation, wash with cool water.
● Day 3-5
○ You will start the peeling process by seeing a slight sloughing of the skin. Refrain from picking or pulling at the skin during this process.
○ Makeup may be applied on day 5.
● Day 6-10
○ Continue to treat the skin gently and do not scrub.
○ Resume any topical prescriptions (Retin A, Renova, etc.) when skin feels back to normal (around day 8 and beyond).
– Do not put the face directly into a hot shower until at least 7 days post procedure.
– Do not use a steam room, jacuzzi, or sauna until at least 7 days post procedure.
– Do not go swimming until at least 7 days post procedure.
– Do not participate in activities that would cause excessive perspiration until at least 7days post procedure (excessive perspiration early in treatment could cause blistering).
– Do not use mechanical exfoliation (loofah or facial machine brush) until at least 10-14days post procedure.

● Avoid sun exposure, tanning beds and creams 1-2 days before and after your treatments are completed
● Avoid hot showers, saunas, hot tubs, swimming, and strenuous sports on the day of the treatment, or until any redness, crusting, or blisters have resolved.
● If crusting develops, it should fall off naturally. Please do not pick or scratch.
● Do not wax, tweeze, bleach, or use hair removal creams or electrolysis on
treatment area until all treatments are completed.
● Do not shave treated area for 1 to 3 days post-treatment if crusting or blistering occurs.
● Apply a minimum SPF 30 broad spectrum sunscreen.
● Treated area may appear red, irritated, and swollen (like sunburn). Apply ice
packs or cold aloe vera to soothe.
● You may experience “hair shedding” the first few days after treatment which is
sometimes mistaken for hair growth.
● Can apply makeup, lotion, resume shaving and apply skincare products to treatment area as early as the next day as long as the skin is not broken and there is no extended redness, blistering or scabbing.
● Thoroughly remove makeup and creams gently with a soft, clean cloth and mild cleanser. Pat to dry. The treated area is very delicate and should be treated with care. Excess rubbing can open the area and may lead to scarring.

Micro-needling
Please carefully read and follow these instructions after your PRP treatment. There are minimal restrictions after your treatment with injections allowing you to return to your daily activities almost immediately. Do NOT touch, press, rub, or manipulate the treated area(s) for at least 24 hours after your treatment.
AVOID: Aspirin, Motrin, Ibuprofen, Aleve (all non-steroidal and steroidal anti-inflammatory agents), Gingko Biloba, Garlic, Flax Oil, Cod Liver Oil, Vitamin A, Vitamin E, or any other essential fatty acids for at least 3 days to 1 week after your treatment. Remember, we are creating inflammation. If you experience discomfort or pain you may take Tylenol or other Acetaminophen products. You may apply ice if you wish to the injected area for 20-30 minutes after the procedure.
Do not wash or take a shower for at least 6 hours after your treatment. Do not use any lotions, creams, or make-up for at least:
6 hours after your PRP treatment or 48 hours for Microneedling. Unless you have Skinfuse treatment.
AVOID: Vigorous exercise, sun and heat exposure for at least 1 week after your treatment.
AVOID: Alcohol, caffeine, and cigarettes for 3 days before and after your treatment. Smokers do not heal well and problems recur earlier, the results may take longer.
Maintain a healthy diet and drink at least 64 oz’s of water the day of the treatment (Fiji water is recommended due to its high content of Silica). You should try to increase your water intake after the first week.
It is normal to experience: Bruising, Redness, Itching, Soreness, and Swelling that may last from 3-10 days following your procedure. Please call our office should you have any questions or concerns regarding your treatment or aftercare.

Make sure to drink fluids before, during and after infusions.
You may eat before and after an infusion. It is actually preferred.
NEVER, NEVER check your blood sugar or INR after a vitamin C infusion.
The vitamin C causes false readings. If you do check do not treat based on the results!!!!

- Use gentle cleaner or mild soap 1 day after treatment.
- Do not use make up applicators the day of treatment.
- Use SPF mineral base the following day preference AlumierMD is the best!!!!
- Resume regular skin care regiment 2 days after treatment.
- No invasive cosmetic procedures Until skin is completely healed.
- No perfumed / fragranced lotions for the first 24 hours.
